Treatment

At your first appointment I will assess your oral condition. This may include an overall examination of your mouth, detailed measurements of your gums, and x-rays. Once this has been completed, a treatment plan will be proposed. This will be explained to you in detail. If at any time you have any questions about your treatment, please do not hesitate to ask me for an explanation. I will limit my treatment to your gums and surrounding tissue only. Any other treatment is to be provided by your general dentist or other specialist dentists if appropriate.

If you are nervous about having dental treatment, please let me know, and I will make special arrangements to care for you.

Cosmetic treatment, tooth straightening and crowning of your teeth, may be necessary after your gums have been restored to health so that your mouth can be kept at its best. I am happy to advise you on (but not treat) other aspects of dental care.
